Put a Widget on your website.
If you are using a Mac, you must know how powerful the widgets is.
Do you want to put your widgets on your website?
If your answer is “Yes”, and you want to have and you have a keep reading.
It’s very easy. Before do this, you need professional web hosting(Bluehost is a good one) , any FTP tools and Dashcode. of cause need a Mac~
Okay, let’s start.
First, download Widgets which you want to put on your website.
Second(if you write the widget by yourself via dashcode, jump to next step), open your Dashcode, import the file you just download.
Third, choice every files except the first one(look the follow picture),press “(cmd)+ C” or any other way to copy them. Then paste them to any folder you like.
Fourth(important),use some tool to edit the “.html” file. Press “(cmd)+F” to open “find”. input “file://”. check everyplace you found(it seems like “file://system/……”). open your finder and goto that the path you find. upload those files to your FTP, remember the where you upload to. Then replace everywhere you find in the “.html” file to the path which you upload to.
Change what we just found to the path on FTP
Fifth, upload the folder which you save the files we just copied from DashCode.
Now, you have done.
It will appear some problem but the widget on your site can use. I’m finding the way to work out them.
